  • February's Pet of the Month
    February's Pet of the Month

Neville is our February’s Pet of Month! At only 5 months old, he is our youngest recipient of the award.

At the beginning of December, Neville was diagnosed with a stomach upset known as gastritis. Even with medication his condition did not clear up. It was decided that further investigations were required such as x-rays and laparoscopic surgery to get to the bottom of what was going on.

Neville was so brave and recovered well from his anaesthetic and investigations. With results from biopsies and a change of diet to include more fibre, Neville is feeling much better.

Neville is such a cheeky chappy who puts a smile on everyone’s face here at Acorn.

    Well done Neville!

February's Weight Watcher Award goes to George, a 10 year old Golden Retriever.

He originally weighed 54.6kg and with the help from a prescription weight loss diet, he now weighs 45.9kg!

George is now at a lower risk of health problems such as diabetes, arthritis and heart conditions.

Well done to George and his owners for doing such a great job!
