Payment + Prices

Payment is required at the time of consultation. We accept cash and most credit/debit cards.

We strongly advise everybody to INSURE their pets.

Insurance

For a fraction of the feeding costs of your pet per week you can insure him or her against sometimes-high costs of a prolonged course of treatment for an unexpected illness or accident, or even death.
Ideally, insurance should be taken out early in your pet’s life.
We must emphasise that we are NOT involved in selling insurance. Our endeavour is to provide the best possible standard of care. Realistically, however, we appreciate that this can be expensive, and it can be very traumatic when a pet’s health or sometimes life is compromised by financial considerations. We therefore believe that pet insurance makes very good sense indeed.

Pet Health Plan

This is a loyalty scheme running in the practice to provides our clients with a 10% discount off ALL procedures carried out in the practice.
A direct debit is set up between you and the practice which will ensure your pet will receive:

  • 12 months flea treatment
  • 4 worming treatments through the year
  • two check up’s per year
  • an annual booster vaccination
  • letters and updates on all practice offers

The direct debit will spread the cost of your pets routine costs and give you 10% OFF ALL in practice procedures.

  • February's Pet of the Month
    February's Pet of the Month

Neville is our February’s Pet of Month! At only 5 months old, he is our youngest recipient of the award.

At the beginning of December, Neville was diagnosed with a stomach upset known as gastritis. Even with medication his condition did not clear up. It was decided that further investigations were required such as x-rays and laparoscopic surgery to get to the bottom of what was going on.

Neville was so brave and recovered well from his anaesthetic and investigations. With results from biopsies and a change of diet to include more fibre, Neville is feeling much better.

Neville is such a cheeky chappy who puts a smile on everyone’s face here at Acorn.

    Well done Neville!
